Ketogenic Diet Foods

This is a list of foods that you should eat or avoid eating while on a ketogenic diet. The foods will be grouped in different categories depending on how great of an impact they will have on you if you’re in ketosis. If possible, you should try to eat as much food as possible that contains absolutely no carbs since that will be most beneficial to you when using any keto diet plan.
 

No Carb Foods

These ketogenic diet foods have no carbs or a negligent amount of them, meaning they are guaranteed not to kick you out of ketosis.

Protein: beef, eggs, pork, cheese, fish, chicken
Natural Fats: butter, cream, nuts and seeds, olive oil,
 

Moderate Carb Foods

These foods do contain a small amount of carbs so they should be consumed minimally.

Protein: whey/casein protein, sausages, hot dogs, salami, ribs (no sauce), buffalo wings,
Vegetables (low starch): broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, celery, asparagus, cucumbers, mushrooms, artichokes, onions, avocados, zucchini, and basically any other low starch vegetables
 

High Carb Foods

Either avoid these ketogenic diet foods or just eat very small quantities.

Olives, lemons, blackberries, raspberries, lemons, limes
 

Foods To Always Avoid

These foods are of no use to a keto diet plan, and are guaranteed to kick you out of ketosis.

Beer, bread, potatoes, corn, cereal, pasta, rice, candy, peas, carrots, fruit juices, fruits with high carbs (such as bananas), cake/pastries, soft drinks, bagels, foods with batter (such as fried chicken), honey, sugar

Note: Diet drinks such as diet pepsi can be consumed since they have no carbs. Other than this, stick to the approved ketogenic diet foods for best fat loss results.
